    Water Access Volunteer Effort
    This independent non-profit Michigan corporation provides assistance to low-income families by ensuring uninterrupted access to safe drinking water and sanitation services. WAVE coordinates resources and raises funds through partnerships with community agencies, businesses, government entities, and private citizens.


  • Genesis Youth Fellowship

    Sponsors on-going spiritual development, leadership, character-building, and recreational activities for youth aged 12-18. Sponsors a planning retreat at Adrian College every year, where youth (with adult guidance) elect officers, plan events and develop a schedule for the entire year.   • Doorstop Homeless Shelter

    SYNC Technologies family members, friends, employees and associates join in to provide Christmas gifts to the children at the Doorstep Homeless Shelter. The shelter is located at 224 Highland St., Highland Park., MI and Approximately 140 children, newborn to age 17, reside there. SYNC employees, family members and friends also offer gifts of time and fellowship as they deliver the gifts on Christmas Eve, participate in the afternoon program, and assist the shelter staff with giving gifts to 140 children.   • U-Nite - Eastern Michigan University

    An annual all-nighter (9:00 P.M.- 7:00 A.M.) of fun and fellowship for youth ages 13-18. Youth and counselors from United Methodist churches in the Detroit metropolitan area gather at the REC I/M Building, EMU. They participate in tournaments, such as 3-on-3 Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming Triathlon and Walleyball. Other activities include Arts & Crafts, Game Room (pool, ping pong, fooseball), Board Games, Nautilus, Track, Racquetball, and a District Counselor’s meeting.

    This summer day camp includes a reading and story-telling program, Peace Center, computer literacy classes at Wayne State Universary for older children, arts and crafts, African dance, music, swimming, bowling, skating, and cultural trips.     SYNC Technologies family members, friends, employees and associates join in to make Christmas special for one needy family by providing Christmas gifts to the entire family. Gifts include needed items such as pajamas, coats, and other clothing items, as well as games, food, and other individual gifts.


  • Intramural Basketball Team

    Eastern Michigan University
    Leonard Stallings, Corporate Laiason SYNC Technologies, Inc. is the corporate sponsor for this college intramural team (The Dream Team). SYNC has provided uniforms and transportation support to championship games out of state. The Dream Team is the 2004 winner of the American Collegiate Intramural Regional Championship at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
